Petroleum Installer

Job Description

• The Petroleum Installer is responsible for the removal and installation of below ground fuel storage and dispensing systems at various facilities that require petroleum storage and distribution.
• Duties include ensuring that all installations comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
• You will get to travel all over learning a niche industry.
• Prepare and install fuel storage sites using hand and power tools
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Follow instructions from supervisors while implementing plans
• Operates various power tools, skid loader, excavator
• Adhere to industry safety standards and regulations regarding petroleum storage
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Additional safety sensitive duties as required

Competencies

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year construction site experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools
• Must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance
• Some construction equipment experience preferred
• Individual may possess knowledge and experience in supporting fuel system projects and compensation with reflect knowledge
• Heavy construction equipment experience highly desirable and compensation will reflect experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $27.00 per hour
